CROwN joulles

Crown Joulles aka Joulles Wright isn’t new to this - she’s true to this. A Vocalist. A creator. A cultural connector. And proudly, she says “as underground as it gets. What does Joulles mean by this? She has witnessed historical fantastical moments from studio to screen, finding herself in the mix of musical and film history.  The name Crown Joulles nods to an earlier chapter managing an RnB trio out of London, a formative era that expanded her global lens.

Crown Joulles debut album, Love Letters Only, isn’t just a project - it is a full circle moment.

It’s gratitude. It’s joy. It’s remembrance.  It’s that intentional space with friends that turns into a whole playlist. Love Letters Only carries the beats and voices of friendships and musical legacies that pave the way to heartfelt danceable music urging you to “Leave your Troubles by the Door.”

Love Letters Only came into creation after Rico Wade’s death which hit home. T-MO Goodie collabs on the lead single “Captain” a heartfelt tribute to Rico Wade, one of the founders of Organized Noize (Rico Wade, Ray Murray, Sleepy Brown)- the legendary production team behind  the Dungeon Family - Outkast, Goodie Mob and TLC. T-MO delivers powerful, raw, verses “Greatness has blessed us and the torch must be carried High.” The track, produced by KED, cousin of Ray Murray, brings us all the way back to the old East Point hideaway - where the Dungeon Family and so much of Atlanta’s sound was born, cementing the record in Atlanta’s rich musical DNA.

To shape the sound, Joulles tapped two-time Grammy winning (Usher, Beyonce) recording and mixing engneer Mack Woodward, bringing big studio polish to these records.

Another standout song, “Ruth is Fresh,” is a rhythmic salute to African culture. KED delivers a fun danceable song, sampling the iconic Fela Kuti’s “Gentleman.”  Fela Kuti was honored in 2026 with the coveted Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. “Ruth is Fresh” is tailor made for dance floors with its infectious bounce and chant ready hook “Everybody lookin at Her.” Joulles titled this song in honor of colleague and costume pioneer Ruth E. Carter, the 2x Academy Award winning costume designer behind Black Panther and nominated for Sinners.

The chemistry between Crown Joulles and Mack Woodward did not stop at the album. Under Woodward’s producer alias “Hemi” the duo dove into house leaning, dance-forward sounds -  locked in and the momentum won’t stop, can’t stop! The vibe? Electric. Effortless. New record after new record! “Secrets” is the first of this collab. A vibey, fun record inviting hearts to “Tell em all your Secrets. All you ever watnted. Love love love. You win. I win. We win.”

Rooted deeply in Atlanta’s creative culture, Joulles also runs Star Studios for producer James “JLack” Lackey, known for his hits with Usher “Margiela”, Lloyd  “Get it Shawty.”

Joulles is not just music, she has worked on over 50 films (Karate Kid, Footloose, Diary of a Wimpy Kid to name a few), building a multi-disciplinary career that moves fluidly between sound and screen.

Love Letters Only is her first full length album - make no mistake, this isn’t a debut from a newcomer. It is a defining moment from a seasoned creative stepping fully into her own spotlight.  Love Letters Only an offering of love and gratitude, carrying forward the voices and friendships that shape its sound.
